Kristy was raised in Talala, Oklahoma, and moved to Tulsa to attend Oral Roberts University. She served as the editor-in-chief of the college newspaper, was founder and president of the Native American Student Alliance, and volunteered as a disaster relief responder with the American Red Cross. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media Communication, a concentration in convergence journalism and a minor in business administration. She is currently in graduate school at the University of Oklahoma working toward a Masters in Administrative Leadership.
Prior to joining our office, she was a reporter at the Claremore Daily Progress. Her goal to work for a law firm with a mission to serve others, solve problems and operate with integrity led her to joining the team. In her free time, Kristy enjoys going on road trips with her husband, hiking and playing soccer. After their wedding, Kristy and her husband set a goal to drive through all 48 continental states together. So far they have driven through ten!
